"Stan Trzoniec 174 pages hardcover

This new ""Heritage Series"" book will take its readers though the countryside that made the Cumberland Division famous. Starting at the yard in Hancock, he moves west past the location of one of the last interlocking towers in the states (HO Tower), through Sir Johns Run, Great Cacapon, Orleans Crossing and into the depths of the Magnolia Cutoff, still today considered an engineering masterpiece completed in less than two years and while trains were running no less! Through his photography and assistance from the B&O Museum and the B&O Historical Society plus tapping into the photographic reserves of many photographers, he is able to show the reader this much talked about section of the railroad from Doe Gully west. Blasting out of the last of many tunnels, the line continues over bridges along the famous Concrete Wall, towards Paw Paw, WV. From here we go through Okonoko, Green Spring, the South Branch Valley Railroad, Dans Run, Patterson Creek and on to the Cumberland yard where you will be treated to vintage photographs of B&O F-units, SD9s and work worn B&O and C&O EMD Geeps.
