In this DVD, Trains
looks at No. 1309, the last steam locomotive built for domestic use by
the famous Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1949. After a short career in the
coal fields of West Virginia, the engine went into storage and ended up
on display at the B&O Railroad Museum. Acquired by the Western
Maryland Scenic in 2014, the locomotive entered service on the 17-mile
mountain railroad in 2019.
