There have been a number of books about the Upstate New York Interurban lines published over the years, but nothing like this compilation of high quality photos, maps, schedules in one single publication. Thankfully, several collectors and regional historical societies have spent decades cataloguing photos and documenting accurate records. The result is this book which is more of a travelogue of regional communities in the late 1800 and early 1900 era, rather then just a collection of trolley photos.
More then 570 photos are presented, documenting the Albany & Hudson Fast Line, United Traction Co. & Schenectady Railway, Hudson Valley Railway Company, Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville Railroad and the Oneonta, Cooperstown & Richfield Springs Ry. Each photo has well detailed captions.
