This publication is on the Carson & Colorado RR and successor lines in Nevada and eastern California. “Along the Carson & Colorado Railroad / Benton to Keeler” provides 73 maps and 104 photos (many never before published) for exploring this segment of the line. Every known ghost town, siding, spur, and timetable-stop location is featured. The Guidebook includes detailed maps for readers to find precise locations, and the author includes a section on ease-of-access to each site and the remaining structures or ruins. There are both historic and modern photographs, many in color, and numerous then-and-now comparisons. Another section outlines museums in the region that have a focus on local or railroad history.
