Nebraska.
CLOSE
UP: 3985 opens with a brief history of the Challengers, illustrated
with rare color archive film, which also includes beautiful color scenes
of Union Pacific 4-8-4s, 4-12-2s, and the legendary Big Boy 4-8-8-4s.
Contemporary action begins as the 3985 departs Cheyenne and accelerates
to 55 m.p.h. for the run over Archer Hill. To supplement exciting
trackside, in-cab, and pacing sequences, Mark I Video's exclusive
ChoochCam locomotive-mounted minicams capture thrilling closeup views of
drivers, rods, and valve gear, offering a unique perspective of this
magnificent machine in action. Beautifully-photographed night action
views, and even exquisite sunrise shots, are also included!
