The book includes photos, drawings and floorplans of the cars. The main focus of the book is on the steel plan 3952, 3954, 3960, 3970 and 4004 cars. There is also a brief look at the Plan 7042, 7101 and 7113 cars, which were similar to ones built for the Pullman Company.
