Starting in the 1930s with the earliest Lehigh Valley diesels, the continues it coverage with the early switchers from the 1930s, the 1945 standard Cornell Red paint scheme and the Tuscan red scheme of the 1960's and 70's on a variety of engines including Alcos Roadswitchers, Cab units, GPs and Switchers. The book also examines the Grey and Yellow Alco C420s, the White and Black Alco C628s, experimental paint schemes and the new Cornell Red Scheme.
